My Story
Why I pick up the camera every single time.
I became a photographer because I became a mother. Nothing else taught me how fast time moves — how one morning your child fits in the crook of your arm, and the next they are running ahead of you down a mountain trail, too busy for your kiss.
I started photographing my own family first. The messy breakfasts, the wind in our hair on hikes, the way my son's hand reached for mine without looking. Those images became my most precious possessions — not because they were perfect, but because they held time still.

Why I love the Smoky Mountains.
