Family Photography in the Great Smoky Mountains
A specialized family photographer for the Smokies.
As a Sevierville family photographer, I work with families who travel to the Great Smoky Mountains to slow down and be together — from sunrise sessions on the meadows of Cades Cove to golden-hour walks in Wears Valley.
I'm the Pigeon Forge family photographer and Gatlinburg family photographer families choose for vacation portraits, anniversaries, multi-generational reunions, and growing-family sessions before a new baby arrives.
Sessions are unhurried and gently guided, almost always at sunrise or sunset, in quiet, intentional locations — a wildflower field outside Sevierville, an overlook above Pigeon Forge, or a tucked-away meadow along the Foothills Parkway.
Beyond family photography in the Smoky Mountains, I also serve as a Wears Valley photographer and Townsend photographer, specializing in extended family photography, multi-generational reunions, couples anniversary sessions, and soft maternity portraits across East Tennessee.

What is the best time for a Smoky Mountains family session?
Sunrise and the hour before sunset are the most flattering. Late spring through early fall brings wildflowers and lush greens; mid-to-late October brings classic Smoky Mountain color.
What should we wear?
After you book, I send a personalized wardrobe guide. The short version: soft neutrals, earth tones, flowing fabrics, and clothing your family can move in.
How long until we get our gallery?
Three weeks for the full, hand-edited gallery. A small preview usually arrives within a few days.
Do you photograph large extended families?
Yes — multi-generational reunions of fifteen or more are one of my favorite kinds of session. I handle the timing, location, and pacing so everyone feels looked after.
